Cookies / Website Usage Information
When you visit Futzo, we may use cookies to retain information about you. A cookie is a small text file that often includes an anonymous unique identifier and additional data required for certain site features.
When you visit our website, it may send a session cookie to your browser if your settings allow it. For your privacy, your browser only allows our site to access cookies it sent — not those from other websites. Unless otherwise stated, all cookies are necessary for the provision of our services.
Most browsers can be configured to alert you when a cookie is sent and to let you reject it. Note that rejecting cookies may limit access to certain features of our website.
In some cases, rejecting a cookie may mean you cannot use a specific feature or section of our website. This may also negatively affect the display and operation of the site.
Transparent GIFs
When you visit us, we may also use transparent GIFs (also known as web beacons or pixel tags) on our website and in our communications. These are typically one-pixel transparent images that help verify whether a page or message has been viewed. We use this information to generate more accurate reports, improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and enhance the user experience.
IP Addresses and Clickstream Data
When you visit us, our servers automatically collect your IP address and may log your domain name, referring page, pages visited on our site, the next site you visit, and other information about your browser and device. We use this for internal administration, diagnosing server issues, and managing our website. IP addresses are not used to contact users who have not voluntarily provided contact information.
Opt-In and Opt-Out Rights
You have the right to opt in or out of different uses of your Personal Information. Your information will not be shared with third-party providers unless you authorize it. You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email from us.
Please note that even if you opt out of promotional messages, we may still contact you about your account, transactions, and relationship with us.
Using, Sharing, and Disclosing Personal Information
We may engage third parties to help us operate and maintain our website and deliver our products and services. We may share your information with service providers and affiliated parties (such as web hosting, email, analytics, and payment processing companies). These providers are contractually prohibited from using or disclosing your information except as necessary to provide services on our behalf or as required by law.
Aggregate Statistics
We may share non-personally identifiable aggregate statistics about user behavior (such as general patterns or demographic reports that do not identify individuals) with third parties. This data is collected using third-party cookies and other external tracking tools.
Legally Required Disclosures
We may disclose your Personal Information if required by law or court order, or if we believe it is necessary (a) to comply with applicable law or legal proceedings; (b) to protect and defend the rights and property of Futzo, our website, and users; or (c) to protect the safety of users, Futzo, or third parties in emergency circumstances.
Third-Party Websites
From this website you may visit or link to other websites operated by us or by unaffiliated third parties. Those sites may have their own privacy practices. Since this Privacy Notice does not cover those websites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under thirteen. If we learn that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it from our records.
Security
We use industry-standard physical, administrative, and technical security measures to protect your Personal Information, including SSL encryption for sensitive transmissions. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its security over open internet connections against unauthorized third-party intrusion.
If you contact us by email, please be aware that your transmission may not be fully secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized disclosure resulting from errors during transmission.
In the unlikely event that we believe your Personal Information has been compromised, we will notify you promptly — and where required, by email.
